WHERE WILL YOU RACE?

This world-famous route, used every year by tens of thousands of pilgrims, goes up the mythical GR65 and offers runners routes full of history in the heart of nature.  A spectacular finish awaits at the foot of the famous cathedral of Le Puy-en-Velay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?

Welcoming more tourists than any other town in the Haute-Loire, le Puy-en-Velay enjoys a magnificent location in the center of France.

Access by road is relatively easy although parking is limited.  If you are travelling by car we recommend carpooling.  A better option is to take the train.  Regular trains run from both Paris and Lyon into the centre of town and offer spectacular scenic journeys.

Le Puy-en-Velay also has its own airport (LPY) just a 15-minute drive outside of town, with direct routes to Paris taking around 1 hour.  The nearest international airport is Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS) 150km away.

OPTION 1 – available for all races

• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the Event Village – stay in a convenient location with other like-minded athletes and supporters, creating a real community feel and atmosphere

OPTION 2 – For races that start and end in different locations

• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the start line before your race  – Avoid race day shuttles and adjust yourself to the altitude ahead of your race
• Transport of your luggage, and any supporters, from the start line to the finish line, whilst you are on the run course
• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the finish line atfer your race – your room will be ready on arrival so no matter what time you finish, a hot shower and a soft bed, plus your luggage, will be waiting for you

Plus, keep all of your travel bookings in once place and customise your booking by adding any of the following extras:

• Travel Transfers – We can arrange transport between any airport or train station and your chosen hotel, for you and your party
• Flights and Train Tickets – No matter where you are travelling from, our travel experts will find a route that suits your dates and budget.
