Famous for its inclusive atmosphere; unbeatable, en-route entertainment and warm North-East welcome – not to mention the millions of pounds raised each year for worthy causes – the AJ Bell Great North Run is truly a ‘must do’ event.
WHERE WILL YOU RUN?
Following the iconic city to coast route, the Great North Run starts in Newcastle city centre, before heading over the Tyne Bridge just before the two-mile mark.
Runners then pass the Gateshead International Stadium, before continuing on towards the coast, making a final turn at the 12-mile point and running along the beautiful seafront of South Shields.
Last year, Nirvana arranged hotels & accommodation near the start line, transfers to Newcastle and to the finish line, and had a hospitality area for spectators and their family to welcome our athletes across the finish line!
