Eligible Spartan racers will compete among the mountains and ancient olive groves of Spartan’s spiritual home Sparta, for the chance to earn their place in Spartan history.
Modern-day Sparta is located in Laconia in the Peloponnese region of mainland Greece, around 215km from Athens, and still exists in the same spot along the Eurotas River.
