The modern 4* Hotel Vila Galé Ópera is located under the 25 April Bridge, right next to Tejo River and the lively Docas area.

Designed by the renowned Portuguese architect Manuel Salgado, with recurring renovations, the decoration of this hotel was inspired by the opera and classical music.   Galé Ópera’s restaurant serves a rich breakfast buffet suitable for fuelling runners before training and the big event.  It also offers payable options for both lunch and dinner, complemented with local Alentejo wines and live opera performances that take place once a week.  If you want to head out for dinner, you can also walk to two of the busiest areas in the city for bars and restaurants: Docas and the LX Factory.

Also near to the hotel, you have access to the train, tram and bus lines, which can take you to the downtown area Baixa-Chiado and the historic center of Lisbon in only ten minutes.
