Papdale Halls of Residence

Designed to accommodate students from adjacent Kirkwall Grammar School, the Papdale Halls of Residence will be transformed into the accommodation base for the Orkney 2025 Games and the 2024 “1 year to go” event.
Comprised of two, three-storey blocks linked by a ground level entrance hall, the site sits on an elevated position with beautiful south-westerly views across Kirkwall, adjacent to a historic walled garden and woodland.
All rooms here have a single bed with en-suite. On the ground floor there are communal spaces that open out onto a sheltered courtyard, perfect for mingling with your fellow Member Island Representatives.
