This will be the first time the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship has been held in New Zealand and with its breathtaking scenery and pure Kiwi spirit, Taupo will make you will feel like a local the minute you arrive.
- Dive into the crystal clear freshwater of New Zealand’s largest lake – the Great Lake Taupō for your 1.9km Roka swim.
- Your 90km bike course will have you dancing on the pedals across rolling hills before settling back down into some longer stretches of quiet country road that’ll have you admiring the perfect pastures and native bush on either side.
- The 21km HOKA Run course is one of the most picturesque on the IRONMAN circuit with a combination of rolling hills to break up the monotony of pounding pavement.
