The legendary Mt. Eiger stands at 3970m above the glacier village Grindelwald and has been enthralling visitors to the valley for decades. With easy flow trails, challenging ascents – some winding their wicked way up to the Faulhorn at 2680m – rewarding the brave with stunning panoramic views.

HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?
We recommend heading to Grindelwald by train, handy seeing as Switzerland is served by international train connections to 12 other countries. InterCity trains bring you from Basel to Interlaken where there is a connecting train to Grindelwald. Travelling from Zürich and Geneva requires you to change in Bern.
Interlaken in accessible by car from Basel, Zürich and Geneva via Bern or via Luzern over the Brünigpass. Parking is extremely limited in Grindelwald and there is no parking available in Burglauenen.
The nearest international airport is Zurich (ZRH) and it takes around 2.5 hours to reach Grindelwald.
