The Shenandoah Valley captures all the beauty the East Coast has to offer.  Run through the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest and climb the Appalachian Mountains, taking in peaks, valleys, sunrises and sunsets on one of the hardest courses on the East Coast.

HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?

The Host City for race weekend is Harrisonburg, Virginia.  Accessible by road, it is a 2-hour drive Richmond and 3-hours from Washington DC. Both are also accessible by public transport although the journey is long and requires some very well-timed options.

Dulles International Airport just outside of Washington DC is the best option for flights.  Connect using local transport, car hire or use our ‘Meet and Greet Airport Transfer Service’ to remove any hassle out of your arrival.

Choose from 2 Official Race Packages, which can be tailored to your chosen event:

OPTION 1 – available for all races

• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the Event Village – stay in a convenient location with other like-minded athletes and supporters, creating a real community feel and atmosphere

OPTION 2 – For races that start and end in different locations

• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the start line before your race  – Avoid race day shuttles and adjust yourself to the altitude ahead of your race
• Transport of your luggage, and any supporters, from the start line to the finish line, whilst you are on the run course
• Accommodation at an Official Race Hotel near the finish line atfer your race – your room will be ready on arrival so no matter what time you finish, a hot shower and a soft bed, plus your luggage, will be waiting for you

Plus, keep all of your travel bookings in once place, with the Official Travel provider  and customise your booking by adding any of the following extras:

• Travel Transfers – We can arrange transport between any airport or train station and your chosen hotel, for you and your party
• Flights and Train Tickets – No matter where you are travelling from, our travel experts will find a route that suits your dates and budget.
