HOW CAN YOU GET THERE?
Vielha, the capital of Val d’Aran, is a small city with approximately 4000 inhabitants, located at 974 meters above sea level. Travel to the region can be tricky as the there are no train stations or airports nearby.
The nearest train stations are Lledia-Pirineus – 165km away with access to the valley by ALSA buses – and Montrejeau, which is 60km away. The nearest airport is Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) around 166km away, taking just over 2 hours by car and upto 8 hours via multiple, well-timed journeys on various forms of public transport.
